Professors of our Faculty of Engineering who are seeking colleagues at foreign universities to establish academic connections, develop joint projects, or undertake an academic visit, for example during their sabbatical period, have access to a variety of universities with which UNAM maintains collaboration and/or communication. It is important to note that not all collaborative activities require a formal agreement to be in force.
The Internationalization Office maintains a record of universities that have expressed a particular interest in collaborating with the Faculty and/or with UNAM. These institutions have either visited our Faculty or held virtual meetings with us, all with the aim of identifying potential avenues for collaboration.
It is also possible to consult the partner universities with which UNAM maintains collaboration agreements, some of which even have a representative office within our Ciudad Universitaria campus.
Another option to consider is the different UNAM offices abroad: Extension Schools and Centers for Mexican Studies. Through these UNAM representations, it is possible to establish contact with various universities located within their region of influence.
Below, we present a list of universities and options that our academic staff may consider.
Suggested universities and options for establishing contact
These universities have held meetings with our School, and one of the proposed avenues of collaboration has been the implementation of short-term student stays.
