Official Transcript

  • At the end of a semester-long exchange period, UNAM will issue an official transcript of final grades. This document will include the student’s name as it appears on the official identification submitted at the time of application for the exchange period, as well as the names and credit values of the courses taken and the corresponding grades, according to the UNAM grading scale.

  • The UNAM Faculty of Engineering does not schedule general midterm examinations; only final examinations are formally administered. The scheduling and administration of any midterm or partial assessments are the exclusive prerogative of the teaching staff, who may organize such assessments in accordance with their own course plans. Consequently, the Faculty of Engineering does not issue official documents certifying partial or midterm grades.

  • For courses that include a curricular laboratory component (L or L+, P or P+), the laboratory grade is reported internally to the instructor responsible for the corresponding theory course. The official transcript will reflect a single final grade, determined by the theory course instructor, who will take the laboratory performance into account when assigning the final evaluation. The Faculty of Engineering does not issue separate or independent documentation for laboratory grades.
